Carol Mitchell-Leon Scholarship Fund established in 2009 to honor Atlanta actor and director, teacher and mentor, Carol Mitchell-Leon. The Fund supports dedicated students seeking degrees in theatre at accredited colleges & universities. The goal of the fund is to build a self-sustaining endowment with the contributions of individuals and corporations who share the commitment to educate a new generation of theatre artists. Carol's physical presence is no longer with us, however, the Carol Mitchell-Leon Scholarship Fund is an active reminder of her enduring passion as a teacher and mentor in guiding young people to excel in the theatre arts.
